Science - Bubbles

Today we had Science in a van come to our school. We learnt about ways to use science in everyday life. We used observation skills and predictions as we pretended to be real scientists.
We learnt about mixtures and which combination of liquids would be best to make our super gigantic bubbles.
We learnt all about carbon dioxide. The gas that we breath out.
We saw a cloud in a bottle as he dropped the carbon dioxide into water.
Then we filled the bubble with carbon dioxide and the bubble fell quickly to the ground because it is more dense and heavier.

Is helium lighter than air?
We think so as the helium filled bubbles floated straight up to the ceiling very quickly...and got stuck!
